We are unable to accept any admission without an LSEN (Learner with Special Educational Needs) number. To obtain a number, students undergo screening to determine the type and degree of barrier, level of support needed and need for assistive devices.
Die Wilge High School implements the Technical Occupational Curriculum. Learners complete an orientation year (age 13) and then meet the four-year to curriculum.
Learners must be 13 years old to be referred to the relevant LSEN documents. *See application process.
No, Die Wilge High School LSEN is a particular school that offers vocational training with practical electives and learning areas that support the practical skills that learners are taught. Learners receive a departmental certificate at the end of the four-year Technical Occupational Curriculum and formal results and testimonials from the school.
The school offers the TO curriculum in English FAL and Afrikaans Home Language and FAL.
